Tonight at 7:00pm MST was the Lustre Christian High School Opening Program. This annual ceremony is for the purpose of introducing staff, introducing school board members and welcoming students back for a new school year. Mr. Young, the superintendent, introduced all the staff and their various roles.
Pastor John Skillman gave the devotional: encouraging kids to do their best and make the most of every opportunity. Lucas and I then gave a brief testimony of our salvation story.
The school choir sang a song led by Mr. Butler.
Each class was then presented by the staff class adviser.
Following the program, the student council members provided delicious pie and drinks by donation.
Here is the proof that Jacques made both pumpkin pie and French silk pie! That’s a good life skill for a StuCo president, right?!
