LUSTRE, Mont. — August 4th, 2026 — Lustre Christian High School has received a $2,500 community grant from Wilbur-Ellis to support improvements to the school’s science lab.
The grant will help LCHS strengthen its science program by providing students with improved resources for hands-on experiments and classroom instruction. These experiences allow students to explore scientific concepts in practical ways while developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
“We are grateful to Wilbur-Ellis for investing in our students and supporting science education at LCHS,” said Clayton Zerbe, the LCHS Treasurer. “This grant will help us provide meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities that would be difficult for a small rural school to fund on its own.”
Wilbur-Ellis has a longstanding commitment to supporting the communities where its employees and customers live and work. Its contribution will help LCHS continue providing students with a well-rounded education and the tools they need to succeed.
Lustre Christian High School thanks Wilbur-Ellis for its generosity and commitment to local education.
