April 21 and 22 nearly all of our LCHS student body participated in District Music Festival in Glasgow, whether in band, choir, ensembles, or as soloists. The students “wowed” the judges as one after another they were given the coveted SUPERIOR rating. Students and groups are judged based on the following technicalities: memory, accuracy, rhythm, technique, and musicianship. With our small student body numbers this year, the judges were impressed by the quality coming from LCHS.

Last night the band, choir, and small groups performed for the community in the LCHS Spring Concert at Lustre’s EMB church. Our very own Etien sang a solo and “knocked it out of the park!” He will be traveling to Billings this weekend with other students to attend the State Solo and Ensemble. We wish you the best Etien!
