Yes. LCHS is known for its high academic standards. On average, students will have 15 minutes of homework per class period each evening.

Bedrooms can accommodate two students, so your rooming situation will depend on enrollment and other factors. If you have concerns, they can be discussed with the dorm parents.

There are two churches in Lustre with close proximity to the school: Lustre Mennonite Brethren and Lustre Evangelical Mennonite Brethren. The LCHS campus is located in Northeast, MT with access to Wolf Point and Glasgow communities.

Any student who maintains a 2.0 or higher GPA is welcome to play sports. All teams accept walk-on players. Teams may use non-players for stats and manager positions. Athletes must comply with the LCHS code of conduct.

Students are responsible for all his/her school supplies, personal effects for dorm living, and spending money.

LCHS maintains a conservative, evangelical mission statement. Any student, regardless of religious affiliation is welcome to apply for enrollment.

The Dorm exists to provide a nurturing, Christian environment for students to encourage their spiritual, academic, and overall growth through consistently demonstrating Christ to them through discipline and example. In keeping with the mission of LCHS to provide a Christian education, the Dorm Staff strive to afford dorm students a quality Christian family/home environment in every way possible in the dorm situation.

Dorm Weekend Out is a monthly opportunity for students to visit in community family homes. Students are assigned by the Dorm Committee to a host family who is a respected and contributing member of the Lustre community. This weekend is a chance to get one-on-one time with a family who will include in their everyday activities which may include farming, ranching, gardening, baking, trips to town, and more.

A day at the dorm begins with Bible devotions and breakfast. Students attend school classes from 8:20am-3:24pm. Sports practice and homework are common activities between school hours and supper. A mandatory study hall is implemented to encourage good academic behavior

Players are responsible to buy his/her game warm-up, personalized with his/her last name. Since we travel long distances for district games, a meal allowance is recommended.

Saturday activities include free time, homework, and dorm group activities. All students attend church services on Sunday mornings followed by free time.

On Holidays it depends on the length of the Holiday and how far away their family is. Students will stay with community members.

LCHS offers the required Montana State courses for graduation requirements. Elective courses are offered depending on staffing certification. Students are required to take a Biblical course each year.

Room and board covers dorm room rental, utilities, meals and some dorm activities.

Students are responsible for transportation to and from practices. Transportation on game days is provided by the school.

LCHS is rated the lowest cost boarding school in the US. Thanks to the many donors and fundraisers throughout the year, our tuition only covers 10% of the actual business expenses. Exact costs can be found in the website application.

Enrollment may take up to 30 days. Time frame depends on the speed with which the applicant supplies all the application requirements.

Monday thru Wednesday class periods are 47 minutes. A school days begins at 8:20am and ends at 3:24pm. The Thursday schedule allows for a chapel period in which students gather for worship and guest speakers. Friday are a short schedule with release at 2:30pm.

Lustre Christian High School boasts small classroom sizes and Class C athletics. It is located in rural, eastern Montana.  LCHS is ACSI certified in the US and Internationally. Its certified staff maintains high academic standards in conjunction with caring one-on-one assistance.

No. Curriculum and books are included in your tuition fees. Students must provide their own school supplies.

Visitors are welcome at the dorm. All visitors must check in with dorm parents upon arrival. If you would like to have out of town guests, please get approval from dorm staff prior to visitation.

The Darin Brown scholarship is awarded annually to a student who has demonstrated excellence in academics, student life, spiritual development, and maturity.
