The Capasso family has left it’s mark in Lustre, Montana!  In August of 2015, Michele was the first sibling to arrive in Lustre.  He studied as a Junior and played with the Lion’s basketball team.  He led the team with drive and energy on the court as a power forward.  Michele attended LCHS for one year before transferring to a junior college in California to continue playing basketball.

In the fall of 2016, Gabriella arrived to the great anticipation of the Lion’s fan club.  She was accompanied by her older brother, Emanuele.  Gabriella also came as a Junior class student.  Michele had praised her character and her presence on the court.   She has been a fierce competitor with the Lady Lion’s team as a solid post player these past two years at LCHS.  This year’s Lucky 7 team held a 12-8 season.  Gabriella was awarded ‘season MVP,’ along with Sadie Brown, at last night’s Awards Ceremony.

Gabriella lives for basketball!  As she considered her options for college application, she was seeking a secondary school that had a solid woman’s basketball program in our region.  We are so excited that she settled on Williston State College of Williston, North Dakota.  Gabriella has signed with the Teton Woman’s Basketball team.  Many congratulations to Gabriella and the Capasso family in Fondi, Italy.
