Hello friends and fellow alumni,
We the LCHS School Board would like to give you an update on what is happening here at LCHS. We first of all would like to thank you for all your prayers and financial support. Without your support this school would not be here today. It is amazing how God continues to bring the mission field right here to this little school in Lustre with kids from all over the world who don’t know the love of Christ. God also continues to provide godly men and women to serve on the staff at LCHS. Thanks to our two RAs, the dorm continues to be a place where kids can feel safe and loved. We are so blessed with God’s faithfulness.
Last year at this time we told you about the new addition and updates we were planning to do this summer to the school building. However, the bid came in around double of what we have raised. So we decided to hold off another year until more money comes in. We currently have around $350,000 and still need about $300,000 more. We will be sending out a more detailed letter before December about the project. This is a much needed improvement to the school.
